At the ABQ Bio Park
Join us in a commemoration of ancestors during the annual Obon Festival at the ABQ BioPark’s Japanese Garden. The celebration includes dancing, drumming and demonstrations of traditional Japanese arts. Food and drink are available for purchase. Each ticket includes a toro nagashi, or floating lantern to celebrate loved ones. Lanterns will be released on the Japanese Garden pond at timed intervals.
Advance tickets are highly recommended. Event tickets include access to the Japanese Garden and High Desert Rose Garden. All other areas will be closed. The Obon Festival occurs rain or shine. You will receive an e-ticket that can be scanned at the entrance to the event.

$25 for the general public. New Mexico BioPark Society members are $22.50. Children under 2 are free.
